Special Announcement! Today I have the distinct pleasure of announcing that the Our Shadows Speak anthologies have found a new home! Steel Moon Publishing will be releasing (pending author approval) Our Shadows Speak Volume 1, Second Edition, unabridged, with ISBN in May 2008. It will be available direct and through their distributor, in Books in Print, Amazon, Google Book Search, etc. This is a partnership endeavor between Lincoln Crisler and Steel Moon Publishing under their registered imprint Writer's Helm. Steel Moon will also be releasing Our Shadows Speak Volume 2 and Our Shadows Soar at a time to be determined (we're still accepting submissions for them). Hats off to all the excellent writers who contributed some great work to a no-name project started by a bored-as-all-hell soldier in Afghanistan. Message-board flame-wars and 'revolutionary' MySpace groups aside, when the small-press really brings it's A-game, it gets noticed. Thanks for making this happen. Author's name, contact info and word count at the top of the first page. Send stories to subs@lincolncrisler.com with "Speak" or "Soar" in the subject line depending on which anthology you're submitting to. Show me something different... a solution to a problem that no one else would think of; the inner, unexplored depths of human (or alien, or robotic) depravity; a new, horrifying monster, idea or future. I'll accept submissions until the books are filled. PAYMENT: Unlike Our Shadows Speak Vol. 1, these two new anthologies will offer payment to contributors. Royalties from the books will be split evenly between their respective contributors and will be paid quarterly via PAYPAL (implied task here is establishing a PAYPAL account if you're accepted and you want money).
	ABOUT THE PROJECT OUR SHADOWS SPEAK was born in July 2006 when author Lincoln Crisler, halfway through a tour in Afghanistan, decided to alleviate his boredom by creating an anthology of Dark Fiction. Numerous authors heeded the call, and several other talented creators lent a hand with the cover art and design. In the end, after wading through all the submissions in search of the best fiction, coordinating the efforts of the various other creators and finally laying out the book, Lincoln released Our Shadows Speak in December 2006.
